Avenga Pty Ltd (Avenga), the manufacturer of Avan motorhomes has voluntarily entered into an Enforceable Undertaking (EU) with the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (the department) relating to the installation of a component that had not, at the time of supply, received the approval of the department. Although this was an administrative oversight of Avenga, our mission is to deliver to consumers affordable, compliant, safe and stylish motorhomes, therefore Avenga is implementing various improvements to our internal processes and designing and delivering training to relevant staff. Further, Avenga is reviewing all related vehicle type approvals to ensure that our vehicles include the most up to date applicable safety requirements.
In our commitment to safety, Avenga will undertake a review of all potentially impacted vehicles and in the unlikely event that Avenga identifies an issue with the vehicle, Avenga will undertake the appropriate remediation to those vehicles at no cost to the consumer.
